Just got back from Dark Knight with Sean. ( This is rambly. Some spoiler type things too )

Time to mow the lawn. It is only 90° out.

While Dark Knight started this weekend the best limited series comic ever, The Watchmen, had this trailer come out.

It looks like it could be good. But Watchmen is all about the characters. I am hoping it can be great. Anything else will be sad.

I just found out that Steve Gerber, creator of Howard the Duck, passed away today.

Steve was one of the early battlers for creator owned comics and a very talented writer. He created Howard as a supporting character in Man-Thing. The first two issues of Howard the Duck that he did with Frank Brunner were amazing. Plus his campaign for President was a thing of history.

Farewell, Steve. I trust that you have found your place in the Nexus of All Realities.

A friend sent me this list of the lamest super heroes. I had seen this one before.

So here is my top ten in no order of ( lameness )

Well today was supposed to be packing but it did not turn out that way. Instead I started out by scrubbing the kitchen. Counters, floors, stove. I did not do the fridge though. Then I cleaned both the boys bedroom and his play room / family room. Those were projects. But the best thing about this was that he helped willingly with all of it! I wanted to ask for some ID. We came up with five loads of laudry out of this though. Two of them are done with a third being worked on now.

We took Camile to the Humane Society Dog Wash. It is a very good cause and so I got Camille the works. Nail trimming, ear washing, full brush and bath. She was not happy with the nails thing. Not at all. I think it has her looking for sgtgwn even more.

Then I found out that teensy80 had got the time off and a chance to go out to war early. So she would not be riding with me. This is a minor issue for costs, but I then found out that chentzu is not going out early. So I am working on the idea of using our two high mileage cars and the rider that is with me splitting time between the cars and dividing up the gas three ways. Just have to figure out if we can fit all the stuff or not. But it is a plan to work on.

Then Sean and I watched Avengers 2 on DVD. It was OK. Then I finally set down for a while and read LJ and a few other computer things. Now I will head off to bed.

So, I did not realize that last week's episode was the season finale. I should have. It felt like one. Now they are running the season premiere which I had missed.

I am such a geek. Tonight's Smallville guest starred Linda Carter as Chloe's Mom. Linda Carter. At one point she covered half the wall area in my room. She still can look very good. She will always be Wonder Woman to me. Although a few seconds in Bobbi Jo and the Outlaw will never be forgotten either.

And I signed up for the Justice on line game. Such a geek I am.

No spoilers but some thoughts about the show in general.

I just love the way we get to slowly learn more about the characters. They keep becoming more and more real.

It feels like a comic in its use of destiny to get people together, but it is so real in its approac to how they react to the powers of destiny.

It is the first TV show in many years that I am watching and I am afraid that it is over for the week because so much has happened and it is only 20 minutes in. That is a great thing.

Time to Audition to be a Superhero. I just do not have the time of talent :(
